SOUTH & NORTH ELEVATION

Inspired by the small moments around the docks, the façade uses triangular forms to capture the motion of birds, boats, and water, turning daily life into a quiet architectural expression.

FLOOR PLAN - MATERIAL SELECTION

The plan is shaped to maximise views toward the water while keeping the circulation simple and intuitive. Spaces open gradually, allowing the living areas to catch light and breeze from the docks, creating a calm and comfortable flow throughout the home.

DETAILED PLAN & SECTION

These details show the construction logic behind the design, from junctions to material connections.

THE DOCK HOUSE

A design concept that echoes dock life, from boats and birds to the rhythm of the water.

This project sits in Docklands, a place filled with movement and beautiful scenes. The everyday life there such as seagulls, boats, and the rhythm of the water, inspired the triangular facade concept. Even though the subject focused mainly on construction methods and drawing conventions, I wanted to show that a construction project can still be creative and exciting. This became a chance to push the brief a little further and let the design concept shape the facade in a more meaningful way.
